We are proud to announce the 2020 Ultimaker Innovators list. It is the first in what will become a yearly celebration of individuals and teams achieving greatness within the 3D printing industry.<\/p><\/div>\n

What is The\u202fUltimaker\u202fInnovators list?<\/h3>\n

The\u202fUltimaker\u202fInnovators list places the spotlight on individuals or teams\u00a0around the world\u00a0using 3D printing to transform the ways\u00a0people work, think, and live. It is\u00a0a showcase of 3D printing technology and\u00a0the innovative results than can be achieved through its use.<\/p>\n

Our intent with the\u202fUltimaker\u202fInnovators is to celebrate contributions to the industry.\u202fWe wish to honor\u202fUltimaker\u202fInnovators collectively for\u00a0pushing forward the\u00a0field, technology, and world.\u202fWe have therefore opted\u00a0to not\u00a0present it as\u00a0a competition\u202for\u00a0ranked\u00a0list.\u202f\u202fWe also made a conscious decision to look at the 3D printing\u00a0industry\u00a0as a whole \u2013\u202fnot just at those using\u00a0Ultimaker\u00a03D printers, materials, or software.<\/p><\/section>\n

Why are we doing it?<\/h3>\n

Innovation is the driving force behind\u00a0Ultimaker, and we\u00a0encourage and support the advancement of the 3D printing industry. As such, we believe that those working within the industry should be\u00a0celebrated\u00a0\u2013\u202fespecially those who are using 3D printing to create, improve,\u00a0innovate, and transform\u00a0at high levels.<\/p>\n

How did we select\u00a0this year\u2019s list?<\/h3>\n

For 2020\u2019s\u00a0Ultimaker\u00a0Innovators list, entries were nominated by colleagues from within\u202fUltimaker. The final list was compiled from those nominees by\u202fUltimaker\u2019s\u00a0Community and Content Marketing teams.<\/p><\/section>\n
