For Ultimaker owners, it's easy to harness the power of ecosystem partner software. The first step is to register for Ultimaker Essentials, which is an unending subscription included with your Ultimaker printer.
Together we streamline CAD to print
Autodesk’s Fusion 360 is a full, end-to-end CAD platform. With the software, users can simulate and engineer their work, then carry it over to a dedicated additive manufacturing space, for granular control over setup, support materials, orientation, slicing, and the creation of STL or 3MF files for printing.
Fusion 360 also offers connectivity to Ultimaker enterprise app, offering users associative design and manufacturing data. This minimizes the number of errors generated design changes are required. In essence what this means, is you set up your part for printing only once, and don’t have to worry about setting up and slicing your parts every time you need to make a new print, Fusion 360 will automate that for you through the additive manufacturing space!
Autodesk is also working on additional support, infill, and print strategies to maximize what you can do with your Ultimaker in the office, studio, or home.
