Every Ultimaker Session we try to invite a guest who can teach us something. The topics may vary, but one thing is for sure, 3D printing is key.

I don't think 3D printing has been more important and essential than for our next guest; Ultimaker itself!

Besides that we put a lot of research in designing the Ultimaker 3D printer, we also build and use them ourselves. You may have already seen our story how we used the Ultimaker 2+ to prototype parts for the Ultimaker 3. But we also use 3D printing to build other Ultimakers.

For this Ultimaker Session we have invited some colleagues from our Quality Assurance department who will tell us about a range of tools they use during the assembly of Ultimaker 3D printers. Tools they have designed and 3D printed themselves to be used in production.

Besides that, we also use these tools to check new parts we receive to verify if they are completely within spec. As you can imagine, these parts need to be pretty accurate. Want to know more? Make sure to stop by ad pay us a visit!

It promises to be another very interesting Ultimaker Session!

We are looking forward seeing you at Protospace.

If you have an interesting project or topic to share during an Ultimaker Session, make sure to let us know!

Sadly I can't make it, but it would make a nice blog post, with links to the printable models they use. I'm quite curious!
