Why does that happen?

Defect

The shorter sides are perfectly fine while the longer ones (Y axis) are uneven and ugly. The belts seem to be OK, as far as I can see and feel.

I would check if the x/y are perfectly (not off by a mm) squared.

And if you need to realign the axes, check this video for UMO+ (it's the same for um2)

Did as the doctors said, the prints look better for now. Hope, it will last.
