Start a print

Once a print file has been prepared and put on the SD card, it’s time to start the first print!

With the UltiController you can directly start the print by navigating to “Print from SD” and selecting the file that you want to print. Once a print file has been chosen the Ultimaker Original will prepare itself by homing the print head and build plate and heating up the nozzle. This will take a few minutes.

While printing, the display will show the progress of the print as "SD%". Once finished, you can remove the print from the build plate.
