To find out how to use or replace a specific part, search in the menu on the right, or click on the name of a part to be guided to a page with instructions.
Please note that there are no separate pages for the print head alignment aid or calibration card. The print head alignment aid is used in all repairs involving the hot end and ensures the correct spacing between the top and bottom parts. The calibration card is used for build plate leveling as described in the Ultimaker 2+ manual.
To keep your Ultimaker 2+ in optimal condition we recommend the following maintenance schedule, based on 1,500 printing hours per year.
|Every month||Every 3 months||Every year|
|Clean printer||Check for play on axles||Clean feeder and replace bowden tube|
|Lubricate axles||Check tension of short belts|
|Lubricate lead screw Z motor|
|Re-tighten hot end isolator|
Note: If the usage frequency is higher, please increase the frequency of maintenance on your machine to maintain optimal printing results.
