Although not a large market on the global scale, Switzerland ranks highest of the smaller countries in this year's 3D Printing Sentiment Index, showing moderately advanced use of 3D printing.

Perceived benefit in Switzerland

Switzerland is a small market. Being the smallest country in population terms covered in our survey, this is not surprising.

Awareness of 3D printing is fairly high and adoption levels are on the higher end of global averages.

Knowledge levels showed an increase compared with the previous Index. Applications 3D printing is used for are fairly typical however, with below average use of 3D printing for production tools. When considering its longer-term potential, this needs to be viewed in the context of a country with a population only around 10% the size of Germany.
