Inside Ultimaker: Meet Jacqueline Vulto

  • News

Every good company has a great team driving it forward – and Ultimaker is no exception. Our Inside Ultimaker series offers the chance to hear from our team members and find out what it’s like to work with us. Enjoy!

If you phone Ultimaker HQ, you’re likely to be greeted by a welcoming, friendly voice. That’s Jacqueline Vulto, our amazing receptionist!

Jacqueline is the first person many of our customers and partners encounter. In addition to talking to clients on the phone, she’s also in charge of making sure guests feel comfortable when they visit us – and ensuring they get to enjoy a cup of our delicious coffee, of course.

Before working for Ultimaker

Prior to joining our team, Jacqueline worked in a theater as the head of the ticketing department. In the role, she had to ensure the ticketing system was operational and had to keep careful tabs on the number of visitors attending the shows. She also took an active role in organizing activities.

The skills she learned whilst in this role made her ideal for the position of receptionist at Ultimaker – she’s not just great with people, but also organized, efficient, and reliable too.

An average day for Jacqueline

Jacqueline’s first priority is to make sure that Ultimaker’s HQ entrance is neat and welcoming for our guests and colleagues. Then, it’s time to sit down with a cup of coffee and go through the emails; ensuring that all correspondence gets sent to the right department. After that, she focuses on the postal mail, whilst also greeting guests and answering the phone.

She’s also a vital part of Ultimaker’s administrative process and helps to make sure everything is running smoothly and quietly.

At home

When not at work, Jacqueline enjoys playing her guitar and listening to music (she’s a big Pink Floyd and Golden Earring fan!). She loves swimming and regularly goes to the movies or theater. “I am happy when I have my family and good friends around me, with their own personalities and habits. I enjoy the moments when they’re with me.”

In addition to keeping busy at home, Jacqueline also volunteers at our Playground Association, and for a meeting point for older people. Did we also mention that she can’t resist a good glass of wine, with some nice food to go with it?
