All printers will be automatically loaded. Additionally, setting functions are often associated with these descriptions. Ultimaker Cura 4.7 resolves this issue, with an improved search function that takes setting description into account, lowering the barrier for finding settings.<\/p><\/section>\n<div class=\"article-image article-image--2-1 article-content__image\"><div class=\"article-image__container article-image__container--2-1\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"improved-search\" class=\"img--contain image-contain lazyload c-image-contain article-image__image\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/contentful_assets\/images.ctfassets.net\/7cnpidfipnrw\/2DLw4bcOY43WJIOHHaJv8g\/a5d65be9f8199a09c29fde8a0de81421\/improved-search\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-image__caption\">Ultimaker Cura&#8217;s search function has been improved<\/div><\/div>\n<section class=\"article-text\"><p>The end result? You can now use Ultimaker Cura\u2019s search function faster, more effectively, and more reliably to find the setting you need to fine-tune your 3D print. <\/p>\n<p><b>Model error detection.<\/b>\u202fWhenever you load a part that is not manifold \u2013 or that contains errors \u2013\u202fUltimaker Cura will automatically issue a warning. Errors in the model are clearly indicated, and an alert appears in a pop-up window. Model error detection (available since Ultimaker Cura 4.6, but not officially announced) decreases the chance for accidental outcomes and improves success rates.<\/p><\/section>\n<div class=\"article-image article-image--2-1 article-content__image\"><div class=\"article-image__container article-image__container--2-1\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"model-error\" class=\"img--contain image-contain lazyload c-image-contain article-image__image\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/contentful_assets\/images.ctfassets.net\/7cnpidfipnrw\/31vzuFGBcevHDNIFOfunfV\/497c3087b90497acad1d7b296b1f930d\/model-error\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-image__caption\">Model error detection allows you to catch and fix errors before starting a print<\/div><\/div>\n<section class=\"article-text\"><p>After the pop-up warning, you can review your models in CAD, then fix any errors before starting to print. Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/fieldOfView\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fieldofview<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/smartavionics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">smartavionics<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/bagelorb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bagelorb<\/a> for their contributions to this feature. <\/p>\n<p><b>Check for account updates manually.<\/b> A\u202fcheck for the update\/sync\/refresh button was added near the account, allowing you to manually check for updates and start the syncing package flow, or have cloud printers added in Ultimaker Cura.\u202f <\/p>\n<p><b>Moved tree support from experimental to normal\u202fsettings.\u202f<\/b>We&#8217;ve made stability fixes and tested thoroughly, so tree support can be considered stable.  <\/p>\n<p><b>Rotation\u202fwidgets.<\/b>\u202ffieldofview\u202fhas contributed code that adds three pairs of arrow widgets to the Rotate\u202ftool handle, enabling you to rotate objects by exactly 90 degrees.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n<p><b>Performance improvements with multiple 3D\u202fmodels. <\/b>\u202fIn previous versions, many\u202fobjects on a\u202fbuild\u202fplate\u202fcould cause Ultimaker Cura&#8217;s performance and responsiveness to be\u202fslow.\u202fWe\u202fhave implemented code optimizations to\u202fincrease responsiveness in such cases.\u202f <\/p>\n<h2>Bug fixes <\/h2>\n<p>More than 70 bugs and performance issues have been solved in Ultimaker Cura 4.7, among them:  <\/p>\n<p><b>Lower start-up time by improving performance of\u202floading\u202fprofile metadata.<\/b>\u202fThis fix\u202fimproves\u202fthe\u202fstart-up\u202ftime\u202fof Ultimaker Cura.\u202f <\/p>\n<p><b>Tree support improvements.<\/b>\u202fIn addition to moving tree support out of the \u201cexperimental\u201d category, we have also fixed multiple reported issues in which support branches would interfere with the model, or the support bottom distance was too small, or printing in vase mode.\u202f <\/p>\n<p><b>\u202fX-Ray View error\u202fwrong\u202fcolor.<\/b>\u202fThe error\u202fcolor\u202fin the X Ray View turned translucent green. This version fixes it so it&#8217;s a more logical solid red.\u202f <\/p>\n<p><b>Initial layer build plate\u202ftemperature.<\/b>\u202fAn exception in our code prevented\u202fsetting the build plate temperature to 0 when printing in one-at-a-time mode.\u202f <\/p>\n<p><b>Build volume shrinks\u202fwith\u202fprime\u202ftower brim\u202fand no\u202fadhesion.<\/b>\u202fThe usable\u202fbuild\u202fplate\u202fvolume was reduced (by increasing the disallowed areas) when there was a brimmed prime tower\u202fand\u202fthe adhesion set to\u202fNone.
