It has several elements for successful business growth\u00a0<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\n<p>But how can 3D printing help? It pushes the production of goods closer to the consumer, democratizing manufacturing on a global scale and allowing products to be cost-effectively customized to consumers\u2019 needs. We see 3D printing being used to develop bespoke grippers, fixtures,\u00a0and tools\u00a0that\u00a0enable\u00a0companies\u00a0to profitably accept custom orders locally that would be difficult to fulfill with a fixed automation production process remotely.<\/p>\n<p>These solutions\u00a0also\u00a0let\u00a0businesses bypass\u00a0rising raw material costs, long supplier lead times, and to build in a flexible resilience to events like the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0Follow the link below to find out more ways 3D printing can benefit businesses in 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2><\/section>\n<div class=\"article-image article-image--2-1 article-content__image\"><div class=\"article-image__container article-image__container--2-1\"><figure id=\"attachment_mmd_5139\" class=\"wp-block-image \"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2160\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/ultimaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ultimaker-pva-removal-station-showcase-image.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"Ultimaker PVA Removal Station with a 3D printed part\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-image__caption\">Ultimaker PVA Removal Station<\/div><\/div>\n<section class=\"article-text\"><h2>New innovation\u00a0to enable post-processing of parts 4 times faster<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of the Showcase,\u00a0Ultimaker\u00a0CTO\u00a0Miguel Calvo\u00a0made the biggest product announcement \u2013 revealing the Ultimaker PVA Removal Station.<\/p>\n<p>This new product, currently in the final stages of development,\u00a0will help 3D printer users to develop prototypes faster, bring their products to market more quickly, and speed up the overall product development process.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>3D printers that use PVA, or polyvinyl alcohol, as a support material require post-processing to remove it\u00a0for some prints. This means dissolving the PVA for a long period of time in water. Depending on the\u00a0print\u2019s design and size, this process can take more than a day to complete.\u00a0The\u00a0PVA Removal Station reduces this time by up to 75%. It also reduces the operating time, as operators no longer\u00a0have to\u00a0remove PVA manually or need to check the dissolving process.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Easy to use, clean, and maintain the PVA Removal Station can be filled with up to 13.5 liters of water, its circulation direction will change automatically, and the speed can be adjusted as needed.\u00a0An internal\u00a0basket and divider\u00a0keep\u00a0prints\u00a0in place\u00a0and submerged.\u00a0A\u00a0saturation indicator shows\u00a0when the\u00a0water needs changing, and the transparent container allows for a quick\u00a0check\u00a0on\u00a0progress.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The PVA Removal Station is universal in use and will be available in the first half of\u00a02022.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>\n<\/h2><\/section>\n<div class=\"article-image article-image--2-1 article-content__image\"><div class=\"article-image__container article-image__container--2-1\"><figure id=\"attachment_mmd_3963\" class=\"wp-block-image \"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2160\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/ultimaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/lehvoss-filament-showcase.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"Lehvoss filament\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure><\/div><\/div>\n<section class=\"article-text\"><h2>Using advanced, third-party materials just got easier\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Another of the big announcements\u00a0was the first material in the Ultimaker Certified Materials range:\u00a0LEHVOSS Group LUVOCOM 3F PAHT\u00ae 9825 NT.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This strong,\u00a0high-temperature polyamide-based material becomes the first of many\u00a0planned\u00a0Certified Materials.\u00a0This enables you to print confidently with the best-in-class third-party materials on the market, so you can\u00a0achieve first-time-right results.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With print profiles, material quality, and technical datasheets tested and validated by Ultimaker, you can be sure that the material delivers the quality you need on your Ultimaker 3D printer.
