Igus® iglidur® I180
Igus® iglidur® I180 Tribofilament is a special material developed for use as bearing material and for all types of wear parts. In applications with movement and friction, it eliminates the need for extra lubrication.
Igus® develops wear-resistant, high-performance polymers known as motion plastics®. Its materials help reduce costs in almost every branch of industry by lowering energy consumption in production and operation and eliminating the use of lubricants.
iglidur® I180 Tribofilament can be chosen as a functional testing material for special bearing and wear parts – for example, as a quick and cheap alternative to milling or turning.
Its superior longevity and low friction (especially against stainless steel) make iglidur® I180 Tribofilament an interesting choice for functional parts and assemblies in jigs and fixtures, and custom machinery.
With this durable and resilient bearing material at hand, custom machine parts and spare parts can be created quickly and cheaply.
