Introducing your 2020 Ultimaker Innovators

Presenting the 2020 Ultimaker Innovators list

We are proud to announce the 2020 Ultimaker Innovators list. It is the first in what will become a yearly celebration of individuals and teams achieving greatness within the 3D printing industry.

What is The Ultimaker Innovators list?

The Ultimaker Innovators list places the spotlight on individuals or teams around the world using 3D printing to transform the ways people work, think, and live. It is a showcase of 3D printing technology and the innovative results than can be achieved through its use.

Our intent with the Ultimaker Innovators is to celebrate contributions to the industry. We wish to honor Ultimaker Innovators collectively for pushing forward the field, technology, and world. We have therefore opted to not present it as a competition or ranked list.  We also made a conscious decision to look at the 3D printing industry as a whole – not just at those using Ultimaker 3D printers, materials, or software.

Why are we doing it?

Innovation is the driving force behind Ultimaker, and we encourage and support the advancement of the 3D printing industry. As such, we believe that those working within the industry should be celebrated – especially those who are using 3D printing to create, improve, innovate, and transform at high levels.

How did we select this year’s list?

For 2020’s Ultimaker Innovators list, entries were nominated by colleagues from within Ultimaker. The final list was compiled from those nominees by Ultimaker’s Community and Content Marketing teams.
