Over the past year, we’ve been hard at work making improvements to Thingiverse to enhance its features, functions, and usability. We are thrilled to share with you the latest updates and a fresh experience.
One of the most noticeable changes is the updated style to match the rest of the UltiMaker brand, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing experience across all our sites.
We revamped the "Thing" and "Make" pages, making them more intuitive and user-friendly. We have exciting plans to expand these changes to the entire site soon.

Finding and downloading the STL files you want has become a breeze. With our new carousel feature, you can easily scroll through available STLs and download them with just a click.

Long descriptions are no longer a challenge to navigate. You can now jump directly to the headers, ensuring you get to the information you need quickly and efficiently.
We've relocated comments to the sidebar, making it easier to engage with other community members.

Collecting and sharing your favorite Things are now more convenient. We've introduced a dedicated pop-up window to streamline this process.

Our site components have been modularized, making them reusable across different pages. This enhancement also improves compatibility with various devices, especially on mobile.
Behind the scenes, we've modernized our codebase, making it easier to maintain and add exciting new features and create a smoother experience.
Over the past year, we've also implemented several changes to enhance your Thingiverse experience, from the inside out.
We are continuously updating Thingiverse to create a more user-friendly, collaborative, and secure hub for 3D printing users.
Thank you for being a part of our community, and we can't wait to see the incredible things you create. Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the future!
