Ranked 11th on the 3D Printing Sentiment Index (falling two places from last time), Italy’s awareness rates dipped below the global average this year. While adoption was slightly higher in this year's results, Italy did not keep pace with some other adopters in the global market.
Knowledge levels relating to 3D printing technology appear typical of the general global picture and Italian users acknowledge the similar positives and negatives to other countries.
Economic constraints not withstanding, the fact that 50% believe 3D printing will have a significant positive impact on the business next year shows many are still keen to make greater use of the technology in the future.
